Quick-Pit Engine Mount: RLOS8IG001  $ 37.96  In Stock

This modification is all about getting you out of the pits quickly.
* By making the mount with 4 parts, you can remove the engine and put it back without having to re-adjust mesh.
* The components are milled to increase surface area to improve  engine cooling.
* The base of each side is flared and long to increase contact with the chassis for even more engine cooling and more bracing for rear up flexing of the chassis.  Even with the longer and wider base, the 6061-T6 billet aluminum components were designed to be light weight, weighing in a 1.1 oz.  Stock weight is 1.0 oz.
* Included screws are treated with Vibra-tite, a reuseable thread locking agent that makes screws resistant to vibration.
* With the use of flathead (countersink) screws, the top pieces lock into orientation.  Other, less thought-out systems using standard head screws leave space around the screw.  This means the upper and lower pieces can shift due to the difference in diameters of the thru holes and the screw's major diameter.
* Why 4 pieces and not 3?  First, there is no structural gain in the very thin strip of aluminum than can go across the front. We didn't connect the back because soon, there will be several companies making aftermarket rear braces.  We don't want to limit your choices.

This is a complete drop-in kit.  No additional modifications necessary.

Quick-Pit 3-Shoe Engine Mount : RLOS8IG003  $ 37.96

No more need for a monster stack of shim and weird creative ways to hold the bell on!  Shown is our mounting system with a Kysosho 7.5 flywheel and OFNA clutchbell.
* Allows you to switch from the Losi 4-shoe clutch system to a typical buggy clutch setup, opening your options for clutchbells and clutch systems.  Shown here a Kyosho 7.5 3-shoe flywheel and nut with a OFNA clutchbell.
* Shims may or or may not be needed.  Only a typical amount is needed for most applications.
* With a typical socket head cap screw holding the clutchbell on, it does not touch the fuel tank.  A button head screw will maximize the distance from the fuel tank.
* By making the mount with 4 parts, you can remove the engine and put it back without having to re-adjust mesh.
